United States has reported 148,492 coronavirus deaths and  2,028,361 recoveries from 4,248,492cases at 14pm till Saturday, according to latest data from worldometeer.

So far, the number of active cases are 2,071,639 while 19,098 patients are in critical condition, the source said.

With the fresh tally in US in the 24-hour, 1,159 people died from coronavirus while 78,501 cases of COVID-19 have been detected, 48,744 patients have been considered recovered.

New York has reported 32,594 fatalities with two new deaths in the 24-hour, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Among other city in US, New Jersey recorded 15,765 deaths, followed by Massachussetts with 8,498, California 8,337, Florida 5,653, Texas 4,790, Georgia 3,443, Arizona 3,143 and Washington DC 1,495respectively till date, JHU reported.
